sir,

we have a big public park in our locality , but sadly it has fallen into a miserable state due to the total neglect of the concerned officials, the plants in the park have withered because they are hardly ever watered, all the park has overgrown with prickly weeds which make it impossible for the children to play there, heaps of garbage have come up at the corners of the park, thus the park has become the most ugly spot of the colony, it has also become a den for antisocial elements who start collecting there as soon as the night begins to fall, it is hoped that the publication of these lines in your esteemed paper will help to draw the attention of the corporation officials to take proper steps for the upkeep of this park, A well -kept park will certainly prove a boon for the residents,

subject: exploitation of parents at the Times of Admissions

sir,

parents are a harried at the time of school admission every, year, In their desire to have their children educated in good schools, they get fleeced and exploited mercilessly, these so–called good schools are in fact, palatial shops that sell education to the highest bidders, first of all they price their admission forms at more than a hundred rupees each which costs them hardly more than a few paise, then ,. the admission –seekers are taxed with capitation fees are also unimaginably high, the rich few can no doubt, afford all this, but for the average salaried class, they are a terrible drain on their pay packet, thus, the imparting of education to their young ones has become a tortuous problem for the poor, parents it is the duty of the government to come to the rescue of these exploited people, forcing capitation fee in the name of donation or building fund is a corrupt practice which should immediately be stopped,

subject: overcrowding in classes —bad effect on the Academic standard

sir,

good schools were once thought to be temples of learning, but nowadays, these so–called good, schools have become nothing more than educational shops their only aim is to mint money by fair means or foul, they charge unimaginably high fees and admit as many as 60–70 students in one section of a class, it is practically impossible for a teacher to control so many kids in a class and given any individual attention to them . the children are herded together like sheep in a class enclosure, while the low –paid helpless teacher continues shouting above their heads, the only aim of such schools is to collect as much money as they can by putting as many students as they can in one class, they are selling education without paying any sales, tax, they are earning lacs and crores without paying any income tax, they are raising huge properties, without paying any wealth or property tax, admitting a large number of students in one class with the sole purpose of making money, is a corrupt practice, that needs to be stopped immediately . no school should be allowed to admit more than 20–25 students in a class at the lower levels at least, where each child needs to be attended individually,
